HISTORY

In 2002 Louis Salseda and Robert Wu joined into a partnership. Both accomplished Los Angeles Police Department officers with extensive backgrounds in martial arts and firearms training, Lou and Bob wanted to provide a higher level of professional defensive tactics training not available anywhere. They had a desire to share their extensive police experience with members of the law enforcement, military and security community. Together they formed the Limited Liability Company, L.E.T.H.A.L Control, with one goal: to enhance the safety of personnel through professional training.

They used their experience of over 40 years of law enforcement work in Los Angeles and vast training expertise to develop training programs that would enhance personnel safety and meet the needs of risk management in a litigious society.

L.E.T.H.A.L. Control, LLC offers a variety of law enforcement, military and security training programs. They also have the ability to develop custom training programs to meet specific needs.

40 hour - Basic Arrest and Control Defensive Tactics
80 hour - Arrest and Control Defensive Tactics Instructor Certification
24 hour - Defensive Tactics for the LE Officer
  4 hour - Baton/ASP Certification
40 hour - Handgun Instructor Certification
40 hour - Patrol Shotgun Instructor Certification
40 hour - Patrol Rifle Instructor Certification
  4 hour - Bean Bag Shotgun Certification
  4 hour - 37/40 MM Less Lethal/Chemical Agent Operator Certification
  4 hour - OC Certification
  4 hour - TASER Certification

While these programs are offered in class format, they are also available in a private format.

All LETHAL Control instructors are California POST Certified and current law enforcement officers with extensive field experience. Many are accomplished Defensive Tactics
instructors with Black Belts in several disciplines.

L.E.T.H.A.L. Control also offers a 4 hour rape prevention course as a community service.
